Nepean is in the National Capital’s Greenbelt and therefore home to a multitude of parks, green spaces, wooded areas for biking and walking trails as well as golf courses, beaches, and more. The active community recreational centres such as Nepean Sports Complex, Walter Baker Centre and others offer a wide range of activities, camps, and classes for every age group. It is well serviced by OC Transpo bus routes which make travelling to any part of the city easy and quick. There are also Park and Rides at Fallowfield and Strandherd stations for downtown commuters. The VIA rail station at Fallowfield is one of the city’s two train stations.
